Welcome to the April 2019 edition of Busmopolitan.

The first weekend of April saw the introduction of the Ultra low Emission Zone in central London. This meant many older, non compliant buses and coaches could no longer enter the heart of the Capital without incurring a daily charge. The ULEZ zone is basically within the A501 inner ring road.
During the w/c 14/4/19, climate change protestors from Extinction Rebellion brought much disruption to central London. They caused obstructions at Oxford Circus and Waterloo Bridge. 50 bus routes had to be diverted. Busmopolitan area TfL services affected included 26 and 388.
