Welcome to the January 2017 edition of Busmopolitan.
The main news this month is railway related. Both of the area’s passenger TOCs have seen ownership changes. One has completely changed management, while the other has a new minority partner. Both new players are from overseas.
Meanwhile, in the Capital, Go-Ahead has consolidated its bus operations by focussing them all on the London General operators licence. It is likely that the local identities of Blue Triangle, Docklands Buses, London Central and Metrobus will remain on vehicles and publicity. The fleets will continue to be reported separately.
We also have a bumper selection of aviation pictures this month.
